This makes me laugh so much – when people ask me if I could “just” make…. for them I usually decline gentlly although I’m often tempted to suggest that I’d be glad to if they’d make up the time I’d spend sewing on cleaning cooking and running my kids around for me…but I don’t, I need to get along with these guys on a daily basis.
But NOW, I shall recite this haiku to myself silently and smile instead.

Thank you, for these. I started sewing like 5 months ago and was wondering if being pissed with “make me one! lol” compliments meant I was selfish. Well…it did, I guess, but it doesn’t bother me no mo.
