Pardon the double post!

Too true. And even the bobbin sensor function on the embroidery machine doesn’t work when I’m doing particularly long seams. Bobbin thread hates me.

I love you so much for this haiku that I may have to turn to crazy stalkerish behavior. Like, living in your crawl space and only wearing hooded buffalo plaid shirts in an effort to emulate Dan.

Yes! I thought maybe this curse was mine alone, makes me feel better to know I’m not the only one.

Yes, yes, yes! Usually happens when sewing something really tricky like sleeve caps…

Ok, coming out of lurking just to say that you made me laugh out loud. At work. Awesome.

Hah! I love this one. Can relate this week.
Well, I really like that leopard jacket on you and don’t see it as an age thing at all. It’s one of those jackets InStyle magazine would show you how to wear as a 20-something, 30-something, 40-something and so on. But ya gotta be comfortable in it, so, lucky Mom! I just hate when you sew something really, really well but hate the way it looks on you. That seems to be happening to me a lot lately.

It is usually after a bit of tricky stitching that I realise my bobbin has run out – and I haven’t stitched a thing!
Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a sensor that detected when your bobbin was running low and flashed a red light, so you could change your bobbin at a more convenient time!

I love your haiku’s! LOL! I finally gave in and bought one of those bobbin winders several months ago because I got so tired of “blowing a gasket” everytime my bobbin ran out of thread. I still get annoyed but to a slight less degree! LOL!

Thanks for making me laugh this morning, I was in need of one, desperately, especially with my throw pillow project going terribly wrong last night.

For me it is usually the spool thread that decides to have a hissy fit! Thanks for haiku – it made me laugh out loud!

You always give up
Just when things are working out.
Stupid bobbin thread.
Unless I’m ready
And trying to use you up.
Then you last for miles.

AHA! I finally found out what you look like. Clever, but too true bit about bobbin threads. My bobbins think they are robins and that it’s time to build nests; usually under silk. Cordially, Nehmah
